SEB has provided €1 million in growth financing to Lithuanian artificial intelligence startup Repsense under its SEB Baltic Venture Debt programme.

Repsense develops AI-powered narrative analysis solutions for media monitoring, security and strategic communications. Based in Vilnius, the company’s technology is already used by the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence, the European Parliament, public institutions in several European countries and a number of international companies. Repsense will use the SEB financing to expand its analyst team, strengthen sales in international markets and further develop its narrative analysis platform.

“Repsense’s story demonstrates that the Baltic states are home to companies capable of competing internationally. Their growth depends not only on ambitious ideas and strong teams, but also on access to financing at the right stage of development. We hope this example will inspire other entrepreneurs to pursue their growth plans with confidence. The more Baltic companies compete successfully in global markets, the greater their contribution to the economic growth of the entire region,” says Arnis Škapars, a member of SEB Latvia’s Management Board.

The SEB Baltic Venture Debt programme was launched in 2024 to support fast-growing companies by offering flexible financing without requiring founders to give up equity. The programme has a total financing capacity of €20 million across the Baltic states, with individual companies eligible for up to €2 million.
