Renowned American jazz trumpeter, composer and bandleader Wynton Marsalis will be the headline artist at Tallinn’s Christmas Jazz festival this year. Marsalis will perform with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and singers Catherine Russell and Georgia Heers on November 30, opening the festival. The concert will be part of Marsalis and the orchestra’s major 2026 world tour. Festival artistic director Anne Erm says this will be the first opportunity for Estonian audiences to see Marsalis perform together with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. The concert will be particularly significant as the 2026 tour will be Marsalis’s last as the orchestra’s artistic director.
