Diesel prices in Estonia have once again risen above €2 per liter, with several filling stations crossing the threshold on Wednesday, ERR reports.
The increase comes amid a sharp rise in global oil prices, with crude reaching its highest levels in recent years. At a Circle K filling station in central Tallinn, diesel was priced at €2.029 per liter on Wednesday. Diesel prices in Estonia had previously exceeded €2 per liter on March 20, when fuel prices reached their highest level since spring 2022.
Gasoline prices have also increased, with 95-octane gasoline at the same station costing €1.999 per liter, compared with less than €1.60 in late April.
