Latvian women’s national basketball team captain Anete Šteinberga played her 100th game for the national team on Saturday, 15 November. She has become the thirteenth player in the history of the women’s national team to reach the “100-game club.”
Since her debut on 27 May 2012, Anete has participated in four European Championship final tournaments and the 2018 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup, each time recording the team’s highest efficiency rating. She has scored more than 20 points in 14 official games (including four games with more than 30 points) and has registered 19 double-doubles.
