A new and ambitious real estate project, Heart of Hanza, has officially opened its doors this week in Riga’s quiet centre, introducing a place where residents are returning to the heart of the city and where modern businesses gain new opportunities for growth.

A Unique Format for the Industry

The opening was marked with an unprecedented event in the sector — a unique morning gathering for architects and professionals, bringing together a broad community of architects, urban planners, and real estate experts. The festive and informative event took place in the project’s ground-floor commercial premises, showcasing the location’s strong potential for modern business and urban development.

“The greatest satisfaction after an enormous team effort is receiving high recognition from both industry professionals and our clients. While developing this project, our main goal was to create a space for active and dynamic people whose greatest values are time and efficiency. We have taken care of everything — from technical execution to a diverse infrastructure within the building’s territory — so that everyday life here is as comfortable as possible and allows residents to truly enjoy their valuable time.

The commercial spaces have been designed with the same level of attention — as a strong platform for modern businesses, providing entrepreneurs with excellent visibility and residents with the premium services they need just a few steps away,” says Aleksandra Strode, Member of the Management Board of LNK Properties.

Bringing Riga’s Urban Environment Back to Life

Riga’s Chief Architect Pēteris Ratas highlighted the broader urban planning context in his address, emphasizing that revitalising the historic centre is currently an important strategic direction for the capital’s development.

He noted that projects such as Heart of Hanza are important for central Riga because they encourage people to return to living in the city’s core, enrich the urban environment, and help revive a strategically significant district by bringing new social and economic energy to it.

“Three things matter most to us — people, a beautiful and attractive living environment, and lively Riga streets at the heart of a vibrant city. This project successfully responds to all three,” concluded P. Ratas.

Commercial Spaces with Outstanding Business Potential

The event took place in the spacious commercial premises located on the building’s ground floor, clearly demonstrating the potential of thoughtful architecture and a high-quality urban environment for contemporary entrepreneurship.

Large display windows, high ceilings, and natural daylight create a representative and visually appealing setting for both customers and company teams, while the strategically advantageous location between Riga’s historic centre and its dynamic business district ensures excellent visibility, convenient access, and a continuous flow of people.

The premises are particularly suitable for premium concept stores, design showrooms, aesthetics and healthcare clinics, as well as modern offices and service providers that value a high-quality environment, a prestigious address, and sustainable infrastructure.

Project Advantages and Sustainable Infrastructure

Heart of Hanza is a business-class residential complex in Riga’s quiet centre, combining contemporary architecture, sustainable technical solutions, and a thoughtfully designed living environment.

The project includes 126 apartments — ranging from compact city apartments to exclusive penthouse residences of more than 350 m².

All homes feature ergonomic layouts, large windows, and private terraces or balconies. The building’s monolithic reinforced concrete structure, ventilated façade, and A+ energy efficiency rating ensure high comfort, durability, and low operating costs.

For residents’ convenience, the territory includes a children’s playground, sports and yoga areas, a dog activity zone, as well as underground parking with electric vehicle charging stations, bicycle storage, and dedicated spaces for baby strollers.

The total investment in the project reached €35 million, including €17 million in financing provided by BluOr Bank.

The project developer is SIA LNK Properties, the architecture and design were created by AB3D, construction works were carried out by AS LNK Industries, while landscaping was developed by ZALA Landscape Architects.

Following the official opening of the building, active reservations for apartments and commercial premises have now begun.
